I-Spy, Alphabet game, Picnic game, Madlibs
By Mr T

Clip to ScrapBook
I-Spy: You look around the room and pick something in the room (example a pencil sharpner). Then say "I spy with my little eyes something (put in description, example: big, black, square). Students then guess what it is.

Alphabet
game: Write the alphabet on the board. Have students think of an animale, type of food, name, etc..starting with the first letter of the alpahabet.

Picnic game: Similiar to the alphabet game. Start with something like "My name is Todd and we're going to go to a picnic and I'm going to bring tea". Have the students raise their hand to ask what they are going to bring.

The object is to let students figure out what they should "bring" to the picnic something that starts with the first letter of their name.

Madlibs: I just bought Madlibs and this have worked great for any down time or rainy days. You can find this at most bookstores.
