I agree with the previous poster. At a job fair, it's more of a screening process (at least where I am from), and they're not really interested in looking at portfolios. If you go to meet with a principal later, I would bring one then.

Maybe an alternative is to make a digital portfolio and burn it to a CD. Then you can hand it out for them to look at when they have more time.
