I would be wary of taking a portfolio, a mini one even, to the job fair. I just went to a job fair for the county I will be teaching at in the fall and it was INSANITY. There were so many people there and not enough people to talk to. I could not even imagine have a portfolio there. It was hot and tiring and I would not want to lug my portfolio through that job fair. Just a word of advice...make up a nice resume and print out a lot of copies.
