Clip to ScrapBook
I have split my math by grade level. I teach math about 90-100 minutes and it is done by grade level. I teach Everyday Math and the games are a real life saver. I have a math message or small activity pertaining to the day's lesson for each group to do first. Then I meet with my olders and they have their lesson and time with me. Meanwhile the youngers are doing a bit more seat work and then playing math games that they have been learning. I then flip flop and teach the youngers while the olders are doing their journal work and then they can play math games. Many times my youngers join my olders to listen in and vice versa.
