with other posters who appreciate when subs. follow my plans as much as possible. I try to keep the routine very similiar. This goes a long way for management.

As far as discipline, I would go over the class rules first thing and explain that Mrs. Jones rules are the same for you. But also include that you are the teacher for the day and some things may be done differently (kids really love to point out if you line up or call names differently than their regular teacher!).
