I'm in college

I have been subbing for over a year and I'm in college, about to be in my 3rd year. I love subbing and it has not scared me off from wanting to be a teacher. What I have learned is that every child is different and no classroom| is the same. What works for one classroom might not work for another. You have to learn to sometimes make things up as you go along. Even if you don't have a clue as to what you are doing, NEVER let the kids know that. Just smile and act like you know exactly what you are doing. Don't show any fear because they thrive on that. The other teachers will probably be very helpful | |
to you. And just remember that the more you do it, the better you will get because you will gain confidence. Also, you might want to get some stickers to use as rewards for good behavior. Hope I helped and good luck.
