Clip to ScrapBook
Definately sending a kid to the office for throwing something in class. (Had a kid throw his library book across class), this was the last straw for that kid. Then acts of out and out defiance. Example, kids are allowed to
sharpen pencils 2 in morning 2 after lunch. One kid absolutely refused to listen to me marched up to the sharpener and did it anyway. This was after many many other outbursts that morning. That was his last straw. He actually also threw the pencil.

I figure I am not paid to figure out how to teach these children despite their discipline problems. That is the job for the regular teacher

and school administration. They have asked me to step in and do the best I can to take care of the kids and teach what I can. I figure any kid getting in the way of that can get out of my class. Especially if they want me to come back again. So far the principals have agreed and kept the kids in the office all day.

that is my opinion,
Lyta
