Child wanting attention
By Jasmine

Clip to ScrapBook
Thank you all for your suggestions. I have moved him to the back of the classroom during all activities and I attempt to ignore his behavior if it is not disturbing the other children. I have also started giving him special responsibilities that he can only keep if he is behaving correctly. This one child is such a mystery to me because he does not seem to lack attention at home and he is so bright he can act out in this way and still retain all of the information I am teaching at the time. He is paying attention to me; he just wants the other children to be laughing at him.
