I agree 100% with what the other responders have posted regarding your question. You should be able to help meet the needs of the district that is hiring you. Sometimes teachers need to change grade levels due to enrollment issues, budget issues or other issues. If you end up subbing a year or 2 before becoming hired, you can use that time to develop skills that can enable you to teach other levels. Good luck!!!
