you can't fight anymore through the courts? Time to make a decision to fight or move on and count it as a lost cause. Let this be a lesson about keeping a distance from students and parents - do not go to their homes or be alone with a child. It seems to me that this is something you would have been taught in college - it was beaten into our heads not to ever put yourself in a position of accusation. I have seen teachers teach for 30 years and then have a parent or student make some accusation and their careers are ruined. Unless they actually filed charges against you - you can move on somehow to something else. Just make different choices in the future - don't try to "click" with students or parents - keep your distance.
