At our school students arrive beginning at 7:15am. We don't allow students to enter classrooms until 8:05 when the first bell rings. From 7:15-7:45 a cafeteria worker watches the kids. Then at 7:45 2 teachers go to the gyn and stay to dismiss the kids by grade level to their classrooms at 8:05. Each grade level has a designated are to sit and to line up. The teachers are rotated so you don't have very many duties a year. It works very well for us.
