Grade Level Changes

I feel for you because our current principal has voiced her philosophy that anyone with over five years in a grade level should be moved. (What's worse is that she told another teacher what grade I'd be in, but has neglected to mention it to me!) My current grade level would be left with no teachers who had taught that grade more than one year! The experienced teachers they'd get would not have chosen to be there. I am quite anxious about how my child's year might turn out with this kind of decision-making going on.
