Plastic Coins
By MelUNLV

Clip to ScrapBook
I have seen the use of plastic coins in many classrooms, and think that it is a wonderful tool to teach responsibilty and money all year round. I would just like to make one suggestion: If you use the plastic coins put a distinguishing mark on them. Just like the real coins, some smart kid will figure out that he can buy the plastic coins and come in with more than he earned!! In one class that I saw the teacher even recorded exactly how much money she gave out to her students, it's a lot of paperwork, but she never had to worry about stealing!! Hope that this helped a little!!
