I did it!

That's exactly what I did. I taught 4th grade for 6 years and needed a change. I wanted to move down to the little ones. I was offered several jobs, but took 6th grade to try middle school and departmentalizing. I can't stand it. It's so much less work - plans, etc, but the attitudes and waste of teaching time for classroom management are horrendous. It was a huge transition for me from 4th to 6th and I can't wait to go back to elementary.
