I would suggest going to the school district that you wish to sub in and walk in to the office and ask the secretary. She should be able to tell you all the requirements. You should expect to be fingerprinted and have a background check. Also, here in Michigan we have to pay $25.00 a year for a substitute teacher permit. You also need to have at least an associates degree or 90 credits of college credit. Another resource for information would be Florida's dept. of education. They should have a website.
