Look for a new school By JB

My first year was in a close suburb of Chicago. It was an awful year, no support from colleagues, and no training for the children that I had had. The principal never had a classroom.... I know what you are saying. Midway through the year I thought of not teaching anymore, forever, and that I was just not cut out to be a teacher and was going to get a desk job somewhere. My husband begged me to try at least on more year before I threw away everything I worked towards to become a teacher. I am glad I did. I now work in a big school district, suburbs of Chicago and I have been teaching there for | | 3 years. Although it is not always 'fun' I am glad I did not quit. Give yourself at least one more year in a different district, before you throw in the towel. I am glad I did..... Email me if you want!
