anxious child who flees
By Jana

Clip to ScrapBook
Has this child had counseling? Have his parents recently gone through a divorce? Is he bored? Is he smart enough to be referred for a gifted testing? Would you consider asking him if he would like to stay in at recess
to do his work?
Have you tried different desk arrangements? Have you asked him to have lunch with you? Can the parents come up to your school and "shadow"
him? Could you play soothing background music for him during independent work time? Have you discussed getting him test for Emotionally Disturbed, ("E.D.")with his parents, your principal, and your special ed. teacher?

I don't

know if these questions will help you or not. I will pray for you and your student.

Good luck,
(0: Jana
