Clip to ScrapBook
How about the principal, is he/she supportive? Try having another talk with his mother and student. Maybe instead of filling this kid with drugs, he needs to talk with a counselor. Something is going on at home, to have this child behave this way. Try having a contract with the student, give him choices, either he does his work, or this will happen, (whatever you decide), try pointing out the positive things he does in class; send notes home about positive behavior, not just negative. Try to persuade the mother that you are on her child’s side and you want the best for him.
