Honestly, do what you feel in your heart. I looked for a teaching job for two years and I never gave up because its truly what I wanted to do. I went into it knowing that jobs were scarce here, but I did it anyway because it was my dream. If you want to become a teacher, I say go for it! Also, the area of science is a good one to go into because there tend to be a lack of science teachers. So if you get an education degree in science then I think you will have little trouble finding a job.
