Classroom Management
By Cindy

Clip to ScrapBook
Is there any type of classroom management system in place that is used by the regular teacher? If there is, then you should by all means take advantage of it. If not, then come up with your own. There are tons listed on this message board.
Here are a few:

~"Shoot for the Stars"-every child gets three strikes. After the 3rd, then they lose their star for the day. You can give a small prize (I used candy) to the kids who get their stars.

~You can also write a word on the board such as "class" or "homework" and erase a letter everytime someone acts up. If all the letters get erased, they can get extra homework or have some other repercussion (lose recess time, etc.)
