Bob, good for you. This person has not been in any of the systems i've been in. My wife is a teacher/administrator of thirty years and we both have been involved in every aspect of urban suburban secondary elementary schools.
I have been a teacher, placement coordinator, coach, etc... I am finishing off my requirements for retirement benefits by subbing. I also have many friends in administrative postions and have the luxery of picking and choosing. Most of my assignments are cake walks and I do enjoy them, but that comes as a result of all the years and relationships formed. I also am in touch with
quite a few subs in my area and often times coach and advise them. I get their direct feedback. As to are nieve person that we both responded to here she just doesn't know what she's talking about. Hate to be so blunt but that's the way it is. As I said in an earlier response to her, check back in about ten years then lets hear how she might want to modify her earlier statement. And yeah hows that postive attitude working out?
