I teach whole group and Monday, do centers on Tues., Wed., and Thurs., and assessments on Fri. I love centers. I have the following centers each week and I expect different qualities of work depending on the students' ability levels. I do not grade center work, but use it more for practice of skills that are later assessed. Centers are language arts, listening, writing, technology, creation, and spelling. The students beg for centers if we skip a week.
