No centers

I do not use centers at all excpet for math explorations once or twice a unit. When I taught 1st grade at a different school I used literacy stations but centers do not match my schools current reading instruction practice. Our day is broken into readers workshop (an hour and fifteen minutes), writers workshop (50 minutes), and word study (15 minutes). I love our literacy model we use and would not go back to centers.
