Terra Nova Terror
By Susie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey gang! I know testing time is probably up but here is something for your "bag of tricks" next year. I too do literature activities in the afternoons on testing days. Because we test the first week of March, it is a great opportunity to take part in the "READ ACROSS AMERICA" program and celebrate Dr. Seuss. Instead of just one day of activities, we make it Dr. Seuss week. The kids gain confidence when they read some of their old favorites and love snacks that center around characters/situations in the beloved books. We have dress-up days, guest readers, and craft projects. The kids really seem to look forward to the week instead of being stressed out because of testing.
