My students completely understand the policy and work hard to do their homework. I think you were refering to the first post. If students don't do their homework they get a HW slip. Each one counts as 5% points off their HW grade, which is 10% of their total grade. 40% is in class work and quizes and 50% of their grade is projects and tests. I use integrade pro to calculate their scores and I can run a copy of tehir grades if they need to see it or send home.
