read-aloud
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
The classroom that I am student teaching in devotes 20minutes every day to read aloud. We include picture books that go along with lessons, themes, black history month, etc. We also do chapter books and use this as supplemental ways to integrate subjects: reading and writing, reading and mapping, etc. I recommend you find time to do this on a daily basis.
