I agree that you should probably let an administrator know...just in case. I would just let the whole thing drop as far as the other teacher goes. Sometimes it is best to just ignore rude people.
Doesn't your building have a staff room or work room? I find it odd that they were just taking their break in the library. That's the last place I would want to be.
