tiresome teaching
By tia

Clip to ScrapBook
i have an analogy i use when people ask me why i work so much (and when my husband says, "just go do it, get it done")....as if it could ever all just "be done". i compare being a teacher to working in the post office--the mail just keeps coming. there's always something to plan or grade...i'm beginning to realize the whole "going postal" syndrome!

i would never want a mundane job--teaching keeps me on my toes because i never know what the day will bring, but sometimes....i wish for a day in a factory with no responsibilities, just screwing nuts onto bolts...
