"parents"
By Deborah Balboni

Clip to ScrapBook
I think what you have in mind, that is having a conference with the mother and letting her know what has happened with the grandmother asking questions about the child's grades, is a great idea. This way it lets everyone in the household be involved without taking away the parent's legal right not to discuss such matters with someone who is not the child's direct guardian. If the mother wants to have the grandmother know about the child's grades, she will let you know and you can proceed from there. I think what you have decided is a good thing. Stick with it.
