different schedules
By Kayla

Clip to ScrapBook
I would have visited my professor to ask her, except that this semester I am an hour away so e-mail seemed the best way to get in touch. I asked other students at my university, and most people e-mail professors for recommendations because work and school schedules are so different that it is hard to get a hold of a professor. Most professors I've had have said that they prefer e-mail. I really did not think it was informal or anything. I just assumed that it was the easiest way to get a hold of them instead of driving an hour and take a chance that they might be in their office.
