Keep up the good work
By Deborah Balboni

Clip to ScrapBook
I think you are doing a good job at handling the situation. Remember, the child has a whole history of life outside of school. It is important to focus on each student and not pay too much time and energy on this one student. Remember that if you try to do everything, you will end up doing very little. If the other children in the class see that you have made special deals with her, they will feel badly and might start more discipline problems themselves for want of attention also. Remember that you are one person and are helping everyone in the classroom, not just one student.
