do-it-yourself transfers

The second grade classes in our school have their class photo printed onto a transfer sheet that goes through the computer printer, then it's ironed onto a t-shirt that the kids bring in.

You also might ask the parents for ideas. One parent in our school has an embroidery machine and would do any design, approx. 4 inches square, for $5. I'd bet if I approached her with more than 20, she'd give a break on the price. There are thousands of embroidery designs on the internet for free, and some people have the software to make any drawing or clipart into an embroidery design.

Just a couple of ideas.
