We made butterfly diaries. Each student had a small book of 5 stapled pieces of copy paper.(stapled in the middle) Each day the students wrote the date at the top of the page and drew what the caterpillars looked like. They also wrote anything they noticed. We kept it from the first day to when the butterflies hatched. I hope you have good luck. Most years I have had, last year they all died. I didn't call the company because it was too late in the school year. My room may have gotten too cold.
