4 day weeks

We would be extending our school day by an hour, so instead of getting out at 3 our students would get out at 4:00. They would go to school from either Monday-Thursday with Friday-Sunday off or go from Tuesday to Friday, with Saturday-Monday off. It is being used in a lot of rural districts in the west. The school year would remain the traditional length not year round. At least this is my understanding. The extra day would be used for staff development, tutoring, sports, etc.
