the olden days?

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree that classes shouldn't be put together based on test scores. I was in one of those a million years ago and was one of the lower-medium in the "smart girls" class. On the other hand, I have discovered that kids quickly figure out who is an advanced or low reader or math student just by observation.

It is important as parents for us to NOT put too much emphasis on academics when we always have this tendency to judge. I look at character first and that is what we need to keep emphasizing to kids. My lowest is an ace with construction imagination and a very nice boy and he will probably be a wealthy contractor when he grows up.

Students who struggle may become great compassionate and understanding teachers when they grow up!
