Get it out of the way
By AW

Clip to ScrapBook
I have found that in elementary classes that many start requesting bathroom breaks. Especially if it has been awhile since recess or something. If the majority of class has to go I'll just line them up and we all take a trip to the bathroom. We did this when I student taught, you have to remind them to be quiet in the hall and not play in the bathroom. Let like 4 go in at a time, or how many stalls are there. Some classes have been shocked but it but it gets it out of the way. If it is a game then boom it's done and everyone can concentrate again on the lesson. Just something different to add... Yes have them write their names and one or two at a time with older kids. What I'm talking about is elementary kids where we all just go and get it overwith.
