lunch room

In our cafiteria we have one lunch room monitor. As teachers we take turns so each grade level has two of the teachers on duty daily. The students stay in their seats and raise their hands if they need something and the monitor and/or teacher will assist. When the noise level gets to high we turn the lights off and give a reminder. After the second reminder then the students loose time during recess. This very seldom happens! There are days when the students are noiser than normal.
