Job Fairs
By AW

Clip to ScrapBook
I've been to many job fairs and basically have wasted my time and money. I would call the districts you are interested in working for. Ask them directly how they hire. Then contact the schools at the level you want to
teach. From my experience job fairs are standing in line, adding to a pile and they hand you info and tell you to apply on-line. However one job fair in Orlando, FL actually set up interviews during the job fair. I didn't get an offer though from anyone after doing all that. Do some research and talk to them before you waste time/money attending a job fair. If you can set up interviews
before you go then it may not be worth your time/money. Think, research and ask questions! Wouldn't you rather visit the school site first anyways? (saves money!!!$$$$)
