Job Fairs By AW

I've been to many job fairs and basically have wasted my time and money. I would call the districts you are interested in working for. Ask them directly how they hire. Then contact the schools at the level you want to| teach. From my experience job fairs are standing in line, adding to a pile and they hand you info and tell you to apply on-line. However one job fair in Orlando, FL actually set up interviews during the job fair. I didn't get an offer though from anyone after doing all that. Do some research and talk to them before you waste time/money attending a job fair. If you can set up interviews | | before you go then it may not be worth your time/money. Think, research and ask questions! Wouldn't you rather visit the school site first anyways? (saves money!!!$$$$)
