Valentine Bags

Every Valentine's Day I have my 3rd graders decorate large brown paper grocery bags. They love it! All you have to do is cut the bag in half across the middle and open it up. It should look like a mini bag. Next, we take the extra paper that was cut off the top, roll it a few times and staple it across the open bag to make a handle. Last, the students color it and put hearts, glitter, etc. all over it. It's simple and fun. P.S. I usually just take a stack of extra bags when I'm at the grocery store.
