Strengths/weaknesses
By withheld

Clip to ScrapBook
I completely agree that we ALL have our strengths and weaknesses. I make a point of my students knowing that, so when I do group for abilities, there is no stigma attached. I can accomplish more and the children can gain more by grouping in this way, since I am meeting specific needs of the particular group. Personally, in early elementary, I'd love to see grade levels split reading classes, where there is "high," "middle," and "low" groups. I used those for lack of better terms at the moment. We'd be meeting the needs of all students much better by grouping like that.
