I had many years experience in the business field prior to teaching. Customers = Parents. I had some great, wonderful customers and then I had some not so great customers. It was a daily thing. Some of the not so great ones I had to see weekly. I would rather have parents than customers any day. I would rather have my teaching work hours. I love that I get the same vacations as my kids. Yes, I still do some school work, research, etc. I do it at home or if I need to work at school then I get to take them too. I absolutely love teaching. Yes there are some not so great things - testing, parents. However, there are some not so great things on the business side of it too.
