You're a good sub!

A good sub does the best she can. You cannot have the same control that the teacher does. Relax! I love your new philosophy. It is mine. I always try to learn from the days I sub and I keep a journal of things that I did well and things that I will try to change.

I am sure that many teachers judge us, but I bet that you are getting good reviews. They know that we can only do our best, and that we will make mistakes. I felt terrible the time I didn't notice the student playing with the glass beaker until he shattered it! Well, guess what? That teacher has me lined up to sub more days in her class!

I like to have control also, but we can't have the same leverage that the regular teacher does. It sounds to me as though you're doing great!
