my philosophy...
By SLC

Clip to ScrapBook
I have to say...I am not like you at all! I do get frustrated when things are not going my way when I'm subbing but then I think to myself "when you were in school and there was a sub, my class would ALWAYS act up". This makes things a bit easier to understand. These kids are trying their hardest to get away w/ as much as possible! They think you don't know anything about how their classroom is normally run, according to them, they ALWAYS act this way! I just take a second and think this to myself (probably about 15 times while I'm subbing), but this normally helps. Explain to them that you are in charge and that you will be leaving a note for their teacher with specific names of who was not a good listener. Maybe this will help.
Good luck!
