We also have laminated legal sized (colored) Homefolders. They go home on Friday, and we put a sticker on it on Monday, when it returns. Only Monday, so the message there is to return it promptly so we can start putting in the week's important papers. If it's missing, they take a bead out of the jar, and I put a gentle reminder in their daily agenda asking for its return. Tho parents are asked to check the agenda daily, many only check it Monday when they're supposed to sign it, so a message that day usually gets read. Maybe you're sending this folder home too often? Would you consider just sending it once a week?
