Just a thought

I was just wondering, if you don't teach SS or Science, how do you give your students a grade? Aren't SS and Science still a part of the curriculum even though Math and ELA have more priority? This seems to be a common problem and it just gets to me because all subjects are important, not just the ones that are based upon a state test.
