I try to incorporate social studies into my Language Arts. The literature circle books they choose from are books that tie in with my Social Studies Curriculum. I also use Science non fiction books during reading. I try to squeeze in a hands on lab at least once a week. (I'm amazed at what I can squeeze into 30 minutes!)
