punishing whole class

I had a situation at the beginning of this school year where I had one student throwing tantrums...I sat my class down and talked about the fact that they have to make choices about their own behavior. My kids seemed to catch the idea not to follow the bad behavior of one. You may want to try that (if you haven't already) I agree with everyone else though, don't punish the whole class because of a few. Good Luck!
