I teach first grade, but this would work for any grade actually. This might be too late to write in, but it's worth a shot if you're still searching for ideas. We're having a valentine breakfast. Parents are bringing in heart shaped waffles, pink whipped cream, o.j., ect. We're going to have parents reading V-stories and while the parents are setting up for the party, I'm having some parents be in charge of some relay races outside! Then, after they eat, they can pass our their valentines into the boxes that were already created at home!!! Then end with a parent clean up crew while the kids are at recess! What a great day! Having parent helpers really make a huge difference!
