I'm amazed that people would risk losing their jobs. In Washington state it is in the RCW's that if a teacher drinks and is in charge of kids they could lose their job. I always related it to out of town basketball tournaments.

Even though my husband is the coach, I am also a teacher, so technically, I can't have a drink either. It would be nice to have wine with dinner when we are out, but we have to go back and supervise kids or we eat with them. I have always avoided drinking because it only takes one upset parent. I am amazed anyone would drink and actually go to work. That one about taking shots

before an evaluation is hilarious--and sad. That person must be hiding a problem.

Also, I think Mary's statement was tongue in cheek. I thought it was funny!
