I do not eat in my teacher's lounge either. There is too much negativity, complaining, and gossip. I choose to eat in my room and then work the rest of the time. I like to separate my personal life from my professional life. I work with some very consevative people, who are very judgemental. I choose not to put myself under their magnifying glass.
